He is the only one who can give them hope, support, community, and the ability to effect change.

With the exception of their familiarity with the Bible, many contemporary clergy and university lecturers are heavy-headed. The exaltation of men, which was a weakness of this religion, needs to end. The exaltation of some above others is completely improper because Christians share in everything, including God's blessings. We have a similar relationship with great persons like Paul. Since we are all part of Christ and Christ is God, every Christian shares in all of the events of this world, whether they are current or will occur in life or death in the future.[/size]

According to Revelation 21:7, we have all we need to grow spiritually and subsequently inherit everything via Christ, who is God's Son.

The Corinthians were building on human foundations rather than the supernatural foundation of Christ because they were following men. Paul is informing them that the foundation is unsustainable. The parable of the wise man and the foolish man (Mt. 7:24–27) also teaches us this.[/size]

He teaches us that as we strive to follow Him, He refines us as needed throughout our lives. I've had to favorite His Day of Judgment how many times?
